Am I A Candidate? (Health Requirements)
This treatment is good for those with excess skin or unwanted wrinkles who are currently in good health with no preexisting conditions. It is not suitable for everyone. This treatment will only work on excess skin and wrinkles. It does not work well for fatty deposits, such as puffy under-eyes or a “double chin”.
Below are photo examples of good candidates vs. bad candidates.

If you have any of the following contradictions you are NOT a candidate for this procedure.
- Inflamed Skin - In or around the area you’d like to have treated.
- Keloid Scarring - If you have experienced keloid scarring in any area in the past you are not an ideal candidate. I can preform a patch test in this area.
- Sickness or Infection - If you have any type of sickness or infection (in any area) you absolutely cannot have this treatment done and will have to reschedule once you are well again.
- Diabetes, Lymphatic Draining Issues or Any Other Healing Disorder
- Sunburn or Tanned Skin - If you have been burned or have a tan you must wait up to 8 weeks or until the tan/burn disappears.
- Hyper-Pigmentation or Hypo-Pigmentation
- A Pace Maker - Fibroblast skin treatment uses electricity to create controlled micro-wounds, and can disrupt the rhythm on the device.
- Pregnant or Breastfeeding
- Eyelash Extensions - This is non-negotiable. For any treatment near the eye area you must have extensions removed at least two days before and wait 8 weeks before having them reapplied. Lash extensions can harbor so much bacteria and will almost always result in infection.
If any of the following apply to you I will require a patch test before preforming a full procedure.
- Keloid Scarring
- Hyper-Pigmentation or Hypo-Pigmentation
- Cold Sores / Fever Blisters - This only pertains to the lip area. If you do experience cold sores/fever blisters you will HAVE TO take a preventative for at least 3 days before the treatment and 4 days after. Having this procedure done in the lip area will more than likely trigger an outbreak otherwise.
- Fitzpatrick Skin Type 4, 5 or 6 - Fitz 4, 5 and 6’s are prone to hyper-pigmentation/hypo-pigmentation and keloid scarring. If you aren’t sure what your Fitzpatrick skin type is, here’s a chart that can help you determine which you are.
If you would like to know more about the Fitzpatrick Classification Scale here is a much more detailed video.
