IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CONTRAINDICATIONS :
- While diabetes is not technically a contraindication, people with diabetes typically heal slower, have results that may appear grey, and/or experience pigment rejection from the skin.
- If you have acne in the procedure area at the time of your appointment it is very likely that the pigment will not stay in your skin and result in poor healed results.
- If you work out immediately after to your appointment or excessively during your active healing process the combination of heat, sweat, bacteria, irritation, etc. will more than likely result in poor healed results (pigment loss, blurring, changes of color, premature fading, possible infection, etc.)
- Smokers may heal slower and not retain pigment as well.
- If you are tan, your pigment can appear grey/ashy and will fade much faster. Tan skin will also bleed easier, and possibly heal darker.
- If you have extremely oily skin or large pores you may experience pigment blurring, changes in color, premature fading or not retain at all. These are all potential risks because of the over-production of oil on the skin and/or texture of the skin itself.
- If you have moles or a birthmarks in the procedure area, we cannot tattoo over these areas and will have to work around them.
